Restored my connection to the Earth

I began working with Daven in July of last year and from start to finish, the six month period was an amazing experience and completely different from what I had imagined (and to some extent, was dreading). Daven is a wonderful teacher who has the ability to pick up fragments of a heart-felt conversation and turn them into something beautiful and enduring. I never expected to emerge with a sense that I could be 'the priestess of my own religion'. The thought was quietly mind-exploding and if that was the only thing I took away from a programme that I had to save hard to enrol in, it would have been worth every dollar.

But there were so many unforgettable moments: the practice of qigong, for instance, which restored my connection to the Earth; and the respect I began to allow myself to visualise an imaginative but refreshed and truly alive world.

The courage to go to the internal places I had previously held back from

Working with Daven challenged me in ways I knew I needed. I wanted to grow and evolve, and Daven held that space for me with such honesty and compassion it gave me the courage to go to the internal places I had previously held back from. Hard places where I had armored up and become numb.

I was able to soften, connect and deepen into myself. I was also given the gift of realizing that women are made for pleasure for us, not simply the male gaze, and to deny this is to deny a God-given gift. It gave me permission to lean into my sensuality.

A Transmission and an Inspiration

Gentleness, Integrity and Sense of Humour

I came across Daven when I was searching for a therapy that would help me start to release restrictions I have had for a long time around intimacy.

I didn't want talk therapy, or sex therapy as I had been down these routes and was always left frustrated and disappointed when things didn't change for me.

I did her online "the power of the yin" course and loved the way she guided us in a very gentle way. I felt her support and decided to work further with her as I felt that the intimacy issue would be treated with respect.

An intense 7 month course was available but it just wasn't right for me so Daven offered one to one sessions.

With her gentleness, integrity and sense of humour we have been working through my process at a speed that is perfect for me. No agenda or time line.

She is incredible to work with and always celebrates changes with me, no matter how small they feel. Her encouragement has kept me going when there are times I feel that things will never get better.

I am so grateful to have met her and looking forward to more immersions with her.

This practice is bringing me back to my own feminine essence

I have been practicing with Daven Lee for almost a year. Her meditation practice, journeying, and QiGong practice is such a sweet and transformative spot in my life. I experience my own wisdom and strength in a whole new way that feels more and more effortless. The meditations and journeying have grounded and centered me. I find I am more exploratory, more trusting, and playful with my intuition and creative outlets. And like any great practice, I experience that same creativity, trust, exploration, and intuitive awareness in my day to day experience.

The QiGong practice guided by Daven seems to be bringing me back to my own feminine essence and the practice itself is beautiful. I feel she embodies the Feminine/Yin energy in every aspect of her teaching. Playful, creative, intuitive, inviting, gentle yet strong. And yes, so grounded.

A huge awakening for me into my own body

Teacher-as-listener

I like working with Daven because she is passionate about teaching what she has learned and she listens. She listens to my observations about what I need and to her intuition.

I get easily overwhelmed in group classes where significant amounts of information are being shared. Working one to one with Daven is a gift.
